ABOUT

Vladimir Kurumilian is a Lebanese-Armenian neo-classical pianist and composer whose music blends contemporary improvisation, electronics, and visual arts. His music spans solo works, collaborations, film scores, and festival performances across Europe and the Middle East.

Having trained for over 15 years at the Lebanese National Conservatory, he began releasing original music in 2009, debuting with What Was Supposed to be a Grendizer Affair. Since then, he has performed internationally and composed for films including Martyr (La Biennale di Venezia) and What’s Going On? by Jocelyn Saab.

Kurumilian’s discography includes critically acclaimed albums like Dopamine (2018), Brume (2019), and Plot Twist (2020). His live performances, such as Ana Bahlam Bik and That Breath We Held bring together music, memory, and multimedia storytelling. He has collaborated with artists such as Luca Longobardi, Ziad Moukarzel and Hamed Sinno, and appeared in events like Baalbeck Festival, Sofar Sounds, and Art Dubai, cementing his reputation as a boundary-pushing figure in the regional and international music scene.
